HumeLink

Project overview

HumeLink is a significant energy project involving a new 500kV transmission line connecting Wagga Wagga, Bannaby, and Maragle. The project spans approximately 360km of new transmission lines and includes upgrades to three substations. This initiative aims to enhance electricity delivery across the National Electricity Market, making it a priority project for the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and the Federal and NSW Governments. The project is anticipated to bring $491 million in net benefits to electricity customers.

Our involvement

• Preparation of environmental management documents for the Acciona Genus Joint Venture for the construction of the project
• Strategic planning and approval advice, design and program review
• Ongoing involvement in the roll-out of training and the implementation of environmental management processes during construction.
