WestConnex Stage 3A: M4-M5 Link

Project overview

The WestConnex M4-M5 Link Project provided a connection between the WestConnex M4 East package to the M5 Motorway, M8 Motorway and Sydney Airport via the Sydney Gateway Project.  The Project delivered 7.5 km twin three-lane tunnels between Haberfield and St Peters, with key interchanges at Haberfield, Rozelle and St Peters.

Our involvement

• Environmental Approvals Manager / Environment Manager: Led the project environmental team in delivering environmental support and maintaining compliance during construction of the M4–M5 Link Tunnels.
• Prepared post-approval planning documentation and reviewed proposed designs and construction activities for consistency with the project’s planning approval.
• Provided environmental and approvals advice to support project delivery and the timely resolution of compliance matters.

Period of involvement: May 2018 to September 2020.
