Sydney Metro West Central Tunnelling Package

Project overview

Sydney Metro West Central Tunnelling Package delivers two 11-km tunnels as well as the excavation of five station boxes at Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock and The Bays. This new underground metro railway will double rail capacity between Parramatta and the Sydney CBD, with a target travel time of about 20 minutes between the two centres.

Our involvement

• Meet key project deliverables such as approval of the Construction Environmental Management Plan and the commencement of works within a very challenging timeframe
• Provided services assisting the delivery of environmental management as described in the approval documents on the ground.
• Provided services to the Central Tunnelling Package as the Environment Manager for the first twelve months of construction of the project
